*Coach K’s number, but Scheyer, is reported to be around 7 million as well. We will try to get confirmation on that in the future.

We will update the details as they come in, and new coaching hires are made.

Rick Pitino reported 6 year deal 20 million to coach St John’s 3.3 million

Ed Cooley reportedly is getting a contract form Georgetown in the range of 6 million a year

Chris Beard got 3,250,000 a year from Ole Miss

Coaching salaries have been on the rise for decades, with some of the highest-paid coaches now earning well over eight million dollars per year. American basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski, better known as ?Coach K,? is widely recognized as one of the most successful college basketball coaches in history. In addition to his career fame, Coach K has also earned a considerable net worth estimated at $30 million.

At Duke, Coach K?s salary steadily increased over time, eventually peaking at more than eight million dollars annually. With his career success, the university was willing to pay this steep price for the head coach of the Blue Devils. During his tenure, Coach K also hired an assistant head coach, Associate Head Coach Jon Scheyer, who was brought on to help bring the team success.

While Jon Scheyer?s salary has not been revealed, he is reported to have an impressive net worth of more than one million dollars. His professional basketball career began while in college as a sophomore season during Duke?s three consecutive Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament championships. During his three ACC Rookie Of The Week awards season, he helped the Duke Blue Devils win the NCAA Championship in 2010. After graduating from Duke with a degree in sociology, Scheyer began his permanent career as a professional basketball player in the NBA?s D-League with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.

After playing for two NBA summer league teams, he decided to continue using his knowledge and take on the role of a Player Development Associate with the Duke Blue Devils in 2014. Additionally, he was also given the opportunity of serving as a special assistant to the team?s head coach, Coach K. During his one year in this role, Scheyer was able to learn from one of the most successful coaches of all time and teach himself more about the game of basketball.

After working at Duke, he moved onto more individual roles, such as a professional for Maccabi Tel Aviv and a player development coach with the Gran Canaria Basketball Team. In Jon Scheyer?s first year as a professional basketball player, his wages totaled an impressive net worth estimated to be more than one million dollars. His total net worth is continuing to increase as he now serves as an assistant coach to Chris Carrawell, the head coach at Glenbrook North High School in Illinois, and was named to the Illinois Basketball Century list in 2020.

To conclude, while the exact salary for Jon Scheyer’s assistant coaching role has not been made public, his wages likely pale in comparison to the nearly eight million dollars Duke pays Coach K annually. Considering Scheyer’s stature in the college basketball world, his impressive history, and the amount of time dedicated to player development, his wages are likely significant. Regardless, we can be certain that his coaching role has been instrumental in helping the Duke Basketball team remain one of the most successful college teams in the country.
